The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and Pop announced today additional presenters for “The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” including Tom Bergeron, Eileen Davidson, Kevin Frazier, Leeza Gibbons, Vicki Lawrence and Mario Lopez. They will be joined by the “Queens of Drama,” the co-hosts of “The Talk,” the co-hosts of the new lifestyle chat show “The FAB Life,” and several other big stars from “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital” and “The Young and the Restless.”

Today, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and Pop announced the first round of presenters which includes cast members from “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital,” “The Young and the Restless,” along with personalities Nancy O’Dell, Regis Philbin, Steve Harvey, Marie Osmond, Craig Ferguson, Shemar Moore and Alex Trebek.

With the 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards just a couple of weeks away, HLN has released a list of presenters slated to appear and hand over awards at the exciting award show ceremony. Betty White, Steve Harvey, Wayne Brady, Alex Trebek, Todd Newton, Bethany Frankel and Kris Jenner are included, with White and Brady presenting Monty Hall and Bob Stewart, respectively, with this year’s Lifetime Achievement Awards.

As previously reported, The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences have partnered up to amass a collection of costumes, scripts, photographs, props, awards and other materials recognizable to daytime fans for a special Daytime Television exhibit. The museum held a special ceremony today, May 9, to not only celebrate the partnership, but to also officially launch a three-year artifact collecting initiative and to announce the first items to be lent for the exhibit!
