“Good Morning America” is set to reveal the new “Dancing with the Stars” cast live on Tuesday, March 8, between 7 am and 9 am, on ABC. Over the years the competition series has featured an array of daytime stars, most memorably first season champ Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall, “General Hospital”). Might a soap star past or present be in the mix this time around?
The 10th anniversary edition of “Dancing with the Stars” will launch on Monday, March 16 at 8:00 PM, ET/PT, ABC recently announced. The competition series, which began in the summer of 2005 with “General Hospital’s” Kelly Monaco taking home the coveted mirror-ball, will be without long-time dancers Derek Hough and Cheryl Burke, however.

There must be something in the water, because former soap stars just can’t seem to stay out of trouble these days! First there was word that Crystal Hunt (ex-Stacy Morasco, “One Life to Live;” ex-Lizzie Spaulding, “Guiding Light”) was charged with felony assault for allegedly smashing a glass in a woman’s face, then came news that Aiden Turner (ex-Aidan Devane, “All My Children”) was charged with domestic violence after allegedly throwing a remote control at his girlfriend, and now comes word that Colin Egglesfield (ex-Joshua Madden, “AMC”) has been arrested for disorderly conduct!
As we previously reported, former “All My Children” star Aiden Turner (Aidan Devane) was arrested in November for attacking his girlfriend, and the actor has now officially been charged with four counts of domestic violence!
Fans of “All My Children’s” Aiden Turner (Aidan Devane) would agree that he was pretty perfect onscreen, but his off screen perfection has now been shattered. According to TMZ, the Hertfordshire-born actor was arrested for felony domestic violence after he allegedly threw a remote control at his girlfriend’s face!
Scott Evans, who played Oliver Fish on “One Life to Live,” has pleaded guilty to attempted cocaine possession. From 2008-10 Evans was one half of the show’s popular, yet controversial gay couple nicknamed “Kish,” which also featured Brett Claywell as Fish’s love interest Kyle Lewis. However, according to TMZ, Evans isn’t expected to serve any jail time.
