‘The Flight Attendant’ Launches Season 2 on HBO Max: Here’s What to Expect

HBO Max launched the second season of "The Flight Attendant" with the first two episodes. Find out what to expect as Cassie Bowden gears up for another bout of international intrigue.

The second season of “The Flight Attendant” launched today, April 21, on HBO Max and follows Cassie Bowden (Kaley Cuoco) living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time.

In the first two episodes, Cassie is on an overseas assignment that leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, thus she becomes entangled in another bout of international intrigue.

In addition to series star and executive producer Cuoco, the returning cast includes Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz and Rosie Perez. Returning recurring guest stars include T.R. Knight, Yasha Jackson and Audrey Grace Marshall. New series regulars include Mo McRae, Callie Hernandez and J.J. Soria, as well as new recurring guest stars Alanna Ubach, Cheryl Hines, Jessie Ennis, Mae Martin, Margaret Cho, Santiago Cabrera, Sharon Stone and Shohreh Aghdashloo.

Filmed in Los Angeles, Berlin and Reykjavik, the season continues with another two episodes dropping next week Thursday, April 28, followed by one episode weekly through Thursday, May 26. In all, the second season contains eight episodes.

The show was developed by showrunner Steve Yockey, who serves as executive producer alongside co-showrunner and executive producer Natalie Chaidez. Greg Berlanti, Cuoco, Sarah Schechter, David Madden, Suzanne McCormack and Silver Tree are executive producers. Jess Meyer is a co-executive producer and Bonnie Munoz is a producer. 

The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television, Cuoco’s Yes, Norman Productions and Berlanti Productions. Season one was based on the novel of the same name by New York Times bestselling author Chris Bohjalian.
