Trevor St. John’s first acting gig was courtesy of the 1993 film “Benny & Joon.” Although he was only a stand-in for Aidan Quinn’s character, Benjamin “Benny” Pearl,” the actor credits the experience for giving him that certain bug. “The energy and pace of the movie set really caught my interest and was the reason I chose Los Angeles over New York. Hulu, the new exclusive home for online viewing of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” has released the first official trailer on its website highlighting cast and crew from both series as they worked behind the scenes for their photo shoot, which took place on Wednesday, February 27 in Sleepy Hollow, NY at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club. Additionally, Hulu has relaunched its “AMC” and “OLTL” web pages where you can be kept up to date on the latest happenings in Pine Valley and Llanview.
ABC has partnered with amfAR, The Foundation of AIDS Research, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of “General Hospital.” In a press release issued today, the network said that as “GH” approaches its 50th year on the air (Monday, April 1), it will return the popular Nurses Ball event after a 12 year absence (not since 2001). amfAR’s participation includes storyline integration that will mark the first time that a real-life charity will be involved in the event.
