IT HAPPENED TODAY…
Christine arrives to get things going in the court case when Paul and Nina tell her that Heather is missing. We soon find Heather bound and blindfolded in a taxidermy factory by Angelo. Back in the courtroom, Chance shows Chris the text he received. Before the judge can get things underway, Chance fakes a chest pang, managing to stall the proceedings a few more minutes.
Lily thinks back on her 'vision' of Cane at her window. Before she can think on it any further, Daniel pays a visit to brighten up her spirits. The two of them relax over college basketball and junk food. Lily asks if Daniel came over to keep an eye on her. Daniel points out he's there to watch her pout over her team's loss. The two start to talk on their past as a married couple. The two make plans to watch college basketball again next season with a little friendly bet on the side. As Daniel is heading back home, Lily gives him a friendly kiss on the cheek. Seconds later, she receives a text asking her if she thought it was a bit too soon for her to be kissing someone else. She's stunned when she sees that it's signed by someone with the initial 'C'.
Leslie is furious that Sharon attempted to flee Genoa City to find Adam. Sharon tells her that she knew it was a risky and stupid thing to do but she had to find him. She asks Leslie to contact Nick, who is angry at what he has learned. When he arrives at the jail, he lets her have it for putting Adam before family once again. Sharon tells Nick that regardless of what he feels, she did it because she loves Adam. A disgusted Nick shoots back that she hopes it was worth losing her freedom over.
Adam continues to try to intimidate Koa by letting him know that he's Victor's son. Koa isn't impressed and still stays cool despite Adam's pushing him. Koa tells Adam that he's going out for a breath of fresh air and when he returns he better not see him there. Once gone, Adam pays the bartender to double his drinks to get him drunk. The plan works and Koa is soon staggering back to his room. Once he's passed out, Adam appears and begins to search his room. He hits the jackpot when he finds Sharon's camera that shows her trying to save Skye's life. Before he can leave, however, Koa comes too and knocks Adam out cold.
Chance initially wants to bail out of the court case when he learns that Heather is nowhere to be found. Paul, Nina and Christine all talk him into doing what is right. Back in the courtroom, Chance testifies about the shooting and names Pomerantz and Meeks as the men that orchestrated the attempt on his life. Meanwhile Angelo continues to taunt Heather that if Chance were smart, he'll keep his mouth shut. Unfortunately for both of them, word comes back that Chance testified against Pomerantz and Meeks. He soon leaves telling a terrified Heather that someone else is coming back to take care of her.
Nick gets a call from Phyllis telling him that she's in Thailand. Nick wants to know if she was there at the time that Sharon was detained. Phyllis admits seeing Sharon being whisked away. She tells Nick that once she finds out what Adam is up to, she'll let him know.
With the court case over, Chance wants to join Paul to find Heather. Every tell him that he'd only be putting his life in jeopardy by going out in the open. Not caring, he tells Nina and Paul that he's in love with Heather and he's going to do whatever to help bring her back safe. He and Paul leave to go search for her.
