Get ready for a tea party, because “The Young and the Restless’” Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) is at it again: She’ll be hosting yet another tea-centric event for fans next month!
The actress will be joining Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell), Tristan Rogers (Colin Atkinson) and Jess Walton (Jill Abbott), along with “Y&R’s” hair and makeup experts, Patti Denney and George Guzman, and Linda Olsen, “The News Hour Calgary” host, on Sunday, April 27 at The Westin Calgary in Calgary, Canada for the special event, officially titled “Alaska Airlines Presents ‘Opportunities for Independence’ High Tea.”
With the 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards slated to happen today (Sunday, June 16), the entire daytime industry has been abuzz with excitement and preparation. It’s been 31 years since “The Young and the Restless’” Kate Linder first donned a black and white outfit and debuted as Esther Valentine, the maid of Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). And even though the character has had a few of her own storylines, she will forever and always be tied to the great dame who first brought her to the screen.
