On Monday, April 27, during the west coast broadcast of CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” actress Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) will be tweeting live with fans as they re-watch a classic episode of the series originally aired in 1990 as part of “Katherine The Great” week on CBS. For those east coasters who will have already watched the show since it airs at 12:30 p.m. EDT, you can join in too!
“We cannot wait for ‘Katherine The Great’ week starting tomorrow on ‘The Young and the Restless’! Tell us what you’re most excited to see, and make sure to tune in all week long to see iconic episodes starring Jeanne Cooper,” said Linder on Instagram.
As previously reported, the episode (#4305; OAD: May 1, 1990) starts with a double dose of Jeanne Cooper when Katherine escapes with Esther’s help only to come face-to-face with her doppelganger, Marge. Meanwhile, Nina (Tricia Cast) introduces David Kimble (Michael Corbett) to Danny (Michael Damian) who’s returned to town with the intention of reuniting with Christine (Lauralee Bell) and Paul (Doug Davidson) and Victor (Eric Braeden) team up with Nathan (Nathan Purdee) and Lynne (Laura Bryan Birn) to try and protect Cassandra Rowlins (Nina Arvesen) from her killer lover, Adrian (Mark Derwin), who she had just agreed to marry. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (then played by Brenda Epperson) worry about the future of Jabot with John (Jerry Douglas) in the hospital, and Brad (Don Diamont) wants to chat with Ashley about Leanna Love’s (Barbara Crampton) show.
