FOX announced today its fall 2019-2020 television season schedule with several changes on multiple nights, the decision to end "Empire" and a mix of sports with soapy goodness.

FOX has picked up a rebooted "Last Man Standing" from ABC's archives for fall 2018-19. The network also moved "9-1-1" to Monday nights.
"Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" has been entertaining millions of late night talk show fans since debuting earlier this year as an escape from late night talk shows. The premise of the HBO series is that host <strong>John Oliver</strong> takes a closer look at the happenings of the past week in terms of news, politics and social media, and culls it altogether into one half hour of entertainment that seeks to empower and inform its viewers. In a segment highlighting a "CBS This Morning" report on a device known as the Salmon Cannon, Oliver, who was so in awe of the Salmon Cannon concept, gives viewers insight into the purpose (it helps push the Salmon that typically get caught in hydroelectric dams over said dams) and decided to make his own, which resulted in the flying fish hitting several of television's biggest stars including "The Young and the Restless'" <strong>Sharon Case</strong> (Sharon Newman) during a made up "Y&R" scene featuring co-star <strong>Joshua Morrow</strong> (Nicholas Newman) as the two fight over Sharon's hidden secrets.
Before meeting with reporters later this morning and advertisers this evening, FOX announced its Fall 2014 primetime schedule that includes a portfolio of new content for the 2014-2015 television season, which join FOX veterans "American Idol," "Animation Domination High-Def," "Bob's Burger," "Boom!," "Bones," "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," "Family Guy," "The Following," "Glee," "Hell's Kitchen," "Hotel Hell," "Masterchef," "Master Junior," "The Mindy Project," "New Girl," "The Simpsons," "Sleepy Hollow" and "So You Think You Can Dance." Each series returns with new seasons airing at various points through 2014-2015.
In the 60th anniversary special double issue of TV Guide Magazine (April 8 - 21, 2013), ABC's "General Hospital" secured a four-page spread on its 50th anniversary, but Luke and Laura Spencer (Anthony Geary and Genie Francis) ultimately secured the biggest spotlight of them all. The dynamic duo, in their famous wedding shot compiled of past covers of TV Guide Magazine, received the back cover spot of the mag which features the hit shows from every decade since the publications launch including "I Love Lucy" (1950s), "Star Trek" (1960s), "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" (1970s), "The Cosby Show" (1980s), "The Simpsons" (1990s) and "Lost" (2000s) on special collector's edition front cover copies of the celebratory issue.
