There’s a new doctor scrubbing in at “General Hospital.” Matt Cohen has landed the role of Dr. Griffin Munro. The character makes his Port Charles debut the first week of February.

In a posting on her personal blog, actress Lindsey McKeon (ex-Marah Lewis, “Guiding Light”) shares some interesting tidbits about her new role as Felicity on CBS’ “The Young and the Restless.”

“Guiding Light” alum Lindsey McKeon (ex-Marah Lewis) is jumping from Springfield to Genoa City as the actress is set to mark a return to daytime television on CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” next month.

The CW announced today during its portion of the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena that it has given an early renewal to “Arrow,” “Jane the Virgin,” “Reign,” “Supernatural,” “The 100,” “The Flash,” “The Originals” and “The Vampire Diaries,” all of which appeared on the network’s fall 2014 schedule, for the 2015-2016 television season.

On Wednesday, January 7, CBS aired the 2015 “People’s Choice Awards,” which saw The CW’s “Jane the Virgin” and “The Flash,” along with talent from the network’s “The Vampire Diaries,” “Supernatural,” and “Beauty and the Beast,” sweep much of the television categories.

The second half of the fourth season of ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” will include “General Hospital” alum Sebastian Roché (ex-Jerry Jacks), who has been cast as King Stefan, Aurora’s (Sarah Bolger) father who has a complicated past with Maleficent (Kristin Bauer Van Straten), reports Entertainment Weekly.

Genoa City is apparently a very popular place to be, as “The Young and the Restless” is adding yet another character to the canvas. This time, the sudser has tapped actress Mishael Morgan to play the new character of Hillary Curtis.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock lately, you’re likely already aware that Greg Vaughan (ex-Lucky Spencer, “General Hospital”) is joining “Days of our Lives” as a recast Eric Brady. What you didn’t know was his first airdate, or his characters new holy profession. Say what?

Best known for his portrayal of Lucky Spencer on ABC’s “General Hospital,” actor Greg Vaughan has joined the cast of NBC’s “Days of our Lives” in the contract role of Eric Brady. Vaughan tweeted a picture of his first day arriving at the shows Burbank Studio lot on Wednesday, August 8, where he said to his followers, “Here’s to to new beginnings’s!!”

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood makes her big screen debut this month in the 3D supernatural horror-thriller “Final Destination 5.”
