It's official: Dan Feuerriegel is your new EJ DiMera on "Days of our Lives." Find out when you can watch this bad boy's return to Salem.
"Spartacus" star Daniel Feuerriegel has reportedly been cast as the new EJ DiMera on "Days of our Lives." He debuts this summer on the soap.
Last portrayed by actor James Scott until 2014, "Days of our Lives" has reportedly recast the role of EJ DiMera. The character could return as early as this summer.
No, Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane Ashby, "The Young and the Restless") is not joining the cast of "Days of our Lives" despite recent social media ruckus.
Since leaving NBC's "Days of our Lives" earlier this year, actor James Scott (ex-EJ DiMera) reteamed with singer Roxanna for her music video "Here with Me," following their 2012 collaboration, "Unforgotten," and now the actor is one of several cast members in Audible's free 1 hour and 13 minute long audio dramatization that vividly imagines and reenacts the famous, impromptu World War I Christmas Eve truce declared by rank-and-file British and German soldiers in 1914. The release commemorates the 100th anniversary of said truce.
Nearly two months after filming completed, singer Roxanna has released the full music video for her single, "Here with Me," the highly anticipated prequel to 2012's "Unforgotten." Both music videos feature former "Days of our Lives" star James Scott (ex-EJ DiMera), who described his character as being "...a little bit more refined, more of a James Cagney type character." He noted, "there is a real elegance and beauty to this story. It has a much more romantic sensibility, much more fantasy... It is less intense in terms of the overt physical dynamic between the two characters, but I think that the underplay of the relationship between the two is actually much, much more intense.”
Since stepping into Salem earlier this September, “Days of our Lives’” Chad has been trying to prove that he’s now a force to be reckoned with. And as viewers have slowly but surely seen, he’s well on his way to living up to the last name he shares with dad Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) and brother EJ (James Scott).
If you’re one of the fans who thought that “Days of our Lives’” Clyde (James Read) would swoop into Salem, stir up trouble for Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Jordan (Chrishell Stause), and then get the heck out of dodge, think again: He’s playing with the big boys now, and he’s here to stay!
Sharing sex scenes with some of the hottest men in daytime must be a tough gig, but someone’s got to do it. And (un)lucky for the rest of us, “Days of our Lives’” Kate Mansi (Abigail Deveraux) is the actress who’s been called upon for the gig. First she got Chad (then played by Casey Deidrick, now played by Billy Flynn), then she got EJ (James Scott), and now she’s got Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). But where has this bad boy bonanza left her burgeoning alter ego? Soap Opera Network spoke with Mansi to find out!
Several “Days of our Lives” stars have speculated on the changing shape of the NBC sudser now that James Scott (EJ) and Alison Sweeney (Sami) — two front burner, leading characters — have left the canvas. The chess pieces have been moving, giving other Salemites a chance to shine. And Soap Opera Network can report that Bryan Dattilo’s Lucas is one of the characters who’s been given the chance to step up to the plate!
It's hard enough keeping a good man down, but try keeping a bad man down. It's impossible, as proven by “Days of our Lives” Stefano DiMera. Though the hits keep on coming for the patriarch, he’ll make like Sia and remain bulletproof, nothing to lose, as they fire away, fire away. And his portrayer, Joseph Mascolo, seems to share the cavalier attitude — at least when it comes to certain aspects of the storyline that ushered James Scott’s EJ off the canvas and Billy Flynn’s version of Chad onto the screen.
While the full music video has yet to be released, and we're sure it'll be well worth the wait, Soap Opera Network has your first look at Roxanna's newest music video featuring former "Days of our Lives" star James Scott (ex-EJ DiMera), entitled "Here With Me." The song features Grammy award winning trumpeter, Chris Botti, who has recently made headlines everywhere for his emotional national anthem performance, as Roxanna and Scott's characters ignite their passion in the prequel to their 2012 "Unforgotten" collaboration.
Ever since coming to Salem as a struggling model 16 years ago, “Days of our Lives’” Nicole (Arianne Zucker) has been on a non-stop whirlwind journey filled with emotion, tears and a whole lot of super soapy drama. And for the first time in that near two decades, the character is about to embark in an entirely new direction that may elicit some surprise from fans!
Though “Days of our Lives’” Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) has proven that she’s a force to be reckoned with and can hold her own with the big boys of Salem, her latest love interest — shady Southerner Clyde (James Read) — is making for some very worried viewers!
“It’s impossible to forget Samantha Brady!” declared Caroline (Peggy McCay) on yesterday’s episode of “Days of our Lives,” exactly mirroring the thoughts that many of the sudser’s fans have had on their minds leading up to star Alison Sweeney’s last episode today. Many tears have been shed (both onscreen and off), but was the character’s exit really movie magic? Or would a completely different ending been the way to go?
Roxanna’s steamy “Unforgotten” music video featuring “Days of our Lives’” James Scott (ex-EJ DiMera) set the world on fire, and the flames will continue to roar: The pair has reunited in a second music video for the singer’s next single, “Here With Me,” which serves as a prequel to “Unforgotten.” And guess what? Soap Opera Network sat down with both Scott — who recently departed the daytime world — and Roxanna to get the scoop on what fans can expect from Part Two of their onscreen romance!
On Thursday, October 30, fans of NBC's "Days of our Lives" will be saying goodbye to Alison Sweeney and Samantha 'Sami' Brady after more than 21 years. As she gets ready to wrap her two-decade long stint on the daytime drama series, Sweeney shares some of her favorite memories from the beginning to the end, including what it was like finding out she was cast as Deidre Hall's TV daughter, some of Sami's most memorable romances, and much more.
Strolling into a large and quiet stage space just north of Hollywood, “Days of our Lives’” James Scott (ex-EJ DiMera) looks as gorgeous as ever. But it’s not the “tall, dark and handsome” thing he usually emanates that’s turning heads. Rather, it’s a calm, relaxed and seriously happy vibe that’s giving him a remarkable glow and an aura of magnetism. You don’t want to sit next to him because he’s cute; you want to sit next to him because he’s happy. So much so, it appears it just might rub off. And the reason that the actor is all smiles? He tells Soap Opera Network that, completely free of a soap opera contract for the first time in 10 years after a combined run as EJ and “All My Children’s” Ethan Cambias, he is well-rested, inspired, and looking forward to the next chapter in his thus-far very charmed life.
The Monday, October 13 episode of “Days of our Lives” marked the final airdate for James Scott as EJ, and to commemorate the momentous occasion, the series’ beloved actress Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) took to Facebook to not only list her favorite EJami moments, but to also share what it was like filming the tense scenes that ushered her onscreen love off the canvas. Following in the actress’ footsteps, Soap Opera Network is asking you to share your favorite EJami moments, too!
A deafening shot rang out on Friday’s episode of “Days of our Lives,” but the piercing blast wasn’t able to drown out cries from fans who realized that the bullet probably spelled the end of EJ (James Scott). And once the howling began — onscreen and off — it built into a frenzy leading up to the character’s final moments in Salem, which played out on today’s episode. But just how powerful were the scenes, which seemingly put the nail in the coffin for the relationship between EJ and Sami (Alison Sweeney), as well? And was the story the best way for Scott’s alter ego to be written off the canvas?
