They now compete with each other to find out which of them was the most Outstanding Younger Actor in a Daytime Drama Series during “The 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.”

She’s nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal as Kristen DiMera on NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” and to celebrate Eileen Davidson will appear on the Thursday, June 19 edition of Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family.” During her taped appearance, Davidson talks with hosts Mark Steines and Christina Ferrare about her nomination, her brief return to “DAYS’ and recently signing a contract with CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” where she’s portrayed the popular role of Ashley Abbott off and on since 1982. She also reveals that the length of her contract with “Y&R,” which includes the ability to appear on “DAYS” from time to time as well, is for two years. Both soaps are owned and produced by Sony Pictures Television.

After appearing on CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” for the past couple of years in a somewhat recurring capacity, actress Eileen Davidson has signed a contract with the Sony Pictures Television produced soap, which guarantees fans will be seeing a lot more of Ashley Abbott on a more consistent basis.

If you feel like your memory has gone bad after hearing earlier this year that former “One Life to Live” star Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair Cramer) had joined the cast of NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” you’re not alone. The actress, who began filming at the soap in early February, will begin airing on Wednesday, June 18 in the contract role of Eve Donovan (previously portrayed by Charlotte Ross), when the character comes face-to-face with Dr. Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian).

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) is set to formally announce a list of individuals scheduled to attend as presenters for the 41st Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy® Awards later today, Soap Opera Network has learned. Hallmark’s beloved talk show “Home & Family” has featured so many soap star guests, it’s a wonder it’s not up for Outstanding Drama Series in this year’s Daytime Emmy race. With everyone from “Days of our Lives’” Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans) to the “Young and the Restless’” Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) and Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) dropping by, it’s pretty much par-for-par with Salem, Port Charles and Genoa City. Though, as former “Entertainment Tonight” personality and current “Home & Family” co-host Mark Steines would tell you, the set is anything but something you’d see on a typical daytime drama.
