Soap Opera Network’s coverage of the 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards red carpet continues this week, starting with “General Hospital’s” Kristen Alderson (Kiki Jerome), who was nominated for Outstanding Younger Actress. “The Young and the Restless'” Hunter King (Summer Newman) ended up taking home the Emmy, but as you’ll see below, Alderson couldn’t have been happier for her counterpart!

In 2013, “Days of our Lives'” Chandler Massey (ex-Will Horton), “General Hospital’s” Bryan Craig (Morgan Corinthos) and Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos) and “The Young and the Restless'” Max Ehrich (Fenmore Baldwin) and Daniel Polo (ex-Jamie Vernon) proved they were the outstanding younger gentlemen for their respective daytime dramas. They now compete with each other to find out which of them was the most Outstanding Younger Actor in a Daytime Drama Series during “The 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.”

As is the case for almost all of the awards shows these days, “The 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” will include an online only voting component where fans are given the ability to vote on the first ever Fan Favorite Award.

On today’s episode of ABC’s “General Hospital,” the tradition of the Nurses Ball continues with yet another male stripstease. Like last year, Milo (Drew Cheetwood) once again led some of the show’s hottest men, or “Magic Milo and the Magic Wands” as Lucy (Lynn Herring) excitedly referred them as, in a dance routine choreographed to AC/DC’s “You Shook Me All Night Long.” While there was some stiff competition amongst the characters in terms of who had the better stripper pose, the ladies in attendance sure had a good time either way as evidenced by Felicia (Kristina Wagner) chanting, “What a waist. What a chest. What an ass,” after an annoyed Levi (Zachary Garred) commented, “This is so tacky. Does a charity really need this? What a waste.”

ABC’s “General Hospital” is fast becoming the place to be to hopefully find the one it seems as another pair of stars have revealed their real-life relationship status, this time via social media.

Times, they are a-changin’! Due to a last minute switch in the production schedule over at “General Hospital,” there are some schedule changes taking place for a few of the “GH” Fan Club Weekend events taking place on Friday, July 26.
