Exactly thirty days from today, fans all across the world (okay, just America…for now!) will be rejoicing as “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” return with brand spanking new episodes. On their Twitter pages, @allmychildren and @onelifetolive, Cady McClain (Dixie Cooney, “AMC”) and Corbin Bleu (Jeffey King, “OLTL”) are the featured stars counting down to 30 days from the launch of their respective soaps on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes. Just in case you hate math like I do, that’s Monday, April 29, 2013!

On Monday, April 1, ABC’s “General Hospital” turns 50! In honor of the event, fans have been anticipating the return of one of the shows grandest events…the Nurses Ball. While things don’t kick into high gear for the event until the Friday, April 5 episode, we at Soap Opera Network wanted to make sure you got a glimpse of some of your favorite actors before their characters start singing, dancing, and throwing punches.

According to Entertainment Tonight, which has your exclusive first look, the Monday, April 1 and Tuesday, April 2 airings of ABC’s “General Hospital” will have fans receiving a special treat as the soap has mixed together several of its iconic opening sequences into a 35 second mash-up that honors the history and legacy of television’s longest-running current dramatic series.

“We’re not in the condo anymore,” says Debbi Morgan (Dr. Angela Hubbard) on the new set of “All My Children.” The actress is part of a behind the scenes video recently uploaded by Hulu to Hulu.com, and also available to subscribers of Hulu Plus for HD viewing, in anticipation of The OnLine Network premiere of “AMC” and sister soap “One Life to Live” scheduled for Monday, April 29 via the aforementioned Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes.

Although “General Hospital” the TV show will turn the golden age of 50 on Monday, April 1, the General Hospital within the show has been preparing for the return of its annual Nurses Ball charity event, which has been inactive since June 2001, and Frank Valentini, Executive Producer, speaks on the return of the Nurses Ball and celebrating fifty years of a television icon.

After more than a year since the launch of its official website, The OnLine Network/TOLN has finally revealed a website geared towards an audience! As of today, the newly re-designed website features information and links on how to view both “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” as well as links to each shows social network site via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Tumblr in the case of “OLTL.”

News of Jenni “JWOWW” Farley heading to TOLN’s “One Life to Live” had been brewing all day today as fans of the soap began noticing interesting messages posted on Twitter including one from “JWOWW” herself when she tweeted, “Heading out to the set of one hot new show! Can you guess where I’ll be making an appearance this week?” The tweet was accompanied by an image that showed her in the “OLTL” hair and makeup room getting prepared for her scenes.

Fans have long wondered how they could watch their favorite returning serial dramas “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” since it was revealed in late January that both series would be available for viewing online via Hulu.com, Hulu Plus and iTunes. The OnLine Network released today banner images that summarizes how things will work, but will it be enough to help viewers tune in?
