If you blinked, you probably missed a post on Twitter by “Days of our Lives” star Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans) that shows the actress standing alongside co-star Lauren Koslow (Kate Roberts) in evening gowns during the upcoming New Year’s Eve episode of the daytime drama series. Yes, New Year’s Eve is happening in August…

Since leaving NBC’s “Days of our Lives” earlier this year, actor James Scott (ex-EJ DiMera) reteamed with singer Roxanna for her music video “Here with Me,” following their 2012 collaboration, “Unforgotten,” and now the actor is one of several cast members in Audible’s free 1 hour and 13 minute long audio dramatization that vividly imagines and reenacts the famous, impromptu World War I Christmas Eve truce declared by rank-and-file British and German soldiers in 1914. The release commemorates the 100th anniversary of said truce.

On the Tuesday, December 16 edition of NBCUniversal’s syndicated daytime talker, “The Steve Harvey Show,” former “Days of our Lives” actress Alison Sweeney (ex-Sami Brady) sits down with Steve Harvey to talk about her two-decade long run on “DAYS,” her hosting duties on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” and her novel, “Scared Scriptless.” In your first look clip, Sweeney reveals that it was hard to leave the daytime soap she called home since she was a teenager and that she’s kept in touch with her former colleagues via social media. Sweeney also revealed that she’s been back to direct several episodes of the daytime drama series since completing filming last May as Sami.

Casey Deidrick co-stars with Victoria Justice in MTV’s scripted drama series “Eye Candy” which is based on the R.L. Stine novel of the same name.

Guy Wilson is returning to “Days of our Lives” as Will Horton after taking a storyline dictated hiatus, plus look for Paul (Christopher Sean) to mix things up.

With the return of Kristen DiMera on NBC’s “Days of our Lives” next year, following the return of Eileen Davidson to the set on Friday, November 14, Soap Opera Network has your first look at the actress in scenes set to air in 2015. While details of her return are scarce, we can’t help but wonder who Kristen will be interacting with when she opens the DiMera doors.

Roxanna’s steamy “Unforgotten” music video featuring “Days of our Lives’” James Scott (ex-EJ DiMera) set the world on fire, and the flames will continue to roar: The pair has reunited in a second music video for the singer’s next single, “Here With Me,” which serves as a prequel to “Unforgotten.” And guess what? Soap Opera Network sat down with both Scott — who recently departed the daytime world — and Roxanna to get the scoop on what fans can expect from Part Two of their onscreen romance!

As previously reported, cast members of NBC’s “Days of our Lives” will once again take part in a special “Day of DAYS” fan event scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 8 at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood. This year the celebration takes place on the actual 49th anniversary of the daytime drama series, making it all the more special for fans looking to see their favorite Salemites in person. As always, the event is free and will begin at 10:00 AM with a “Day of DAYS” welcome party with cast introductions, followed by autograph signings, a cast Q&A session, photo booth fun for fans and much more.  The day will culminate with a preview of an upcoming episode of the drama series immediately following the cast Q&A.

Rumors continue circulating over Lisa Rinna joining the cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and now comes word Eileen Davidson has also signed on.

After saying goodbye to friends and colleagues on Friday, May 23 as she wrapped filming her 21 year run as Samantha “Sami” Brady on NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” Alison Sweeney is gearing up for the release of “Scared Scriptless,” her fourth book. The actress will appear at the NBC Experience Store in New York on Tuesday, June 3 signing purchased copies of her book, which is being released by Hyperion the same day.
