Background: Errol is one of the premier voices covering all five daily daytime dramas, including "Beyond the Gates," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Days of our Lives," "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless." He began watching soaps in 1993, around the time Luke and Laura Spencer returned to “General Hospital,” but they weren’t what got him watching regularly. “It was Lucy Coe and her duck Sigmond,” he says of how he got started with soaps.
He received his BA from Baruch College, double-majoring in English Literature and Journalism, and double-minoring in Communications and Psychology. He also holds an AA in Business Administration.

“Gilmore Girls” bad boy Milo Ventimiglia has joined the cast of NBC”s ratings deprived “American Dreams.” Ventimiglia, who played Jess on the WB drama series, will star alongside former “Guiding Light” actress Brittany Snow (ex-Susan Lemay), who plays Meg Pryor on the series. Ryan Carnes will take over the role as Lucas Jones on “General Hospital” this summer, reports TV Guide Online. Lucas is the son of Bobbie Jones (Jacklyn Zeman). The daytime newcomer replaces actor C.J. Thomason, the most recent Lucas from 2002-2003. This move is a part of a usually growing summer teen storyline. No word yet on whether the role is contract, though it is likely to be recurring.
