Need To Know

  • “NBC News Daily” attracted its second-largest audience of the season.
  • Repeats of “The Price is Right” continue to perform well, on par with originals.
  • “The View” saw the largest week-to-week gain among Total Viewers.

Repeat broadcasts of “The Price is Right” and the fast-growing “NBC News Daily” were the biggest gainers year-over-year among Total Viewers during the week of July 13-17, 2026, which also marked the official countdown to the end of the 2025-2026 television season with just nine weeks remaining.

Retitled “Price 2” and “Price 1,” respectively, the long-running CBS game show concluded Season 54 during the week of June 29 – July 3, 2026, but its repeats continue to perform on par with originals, with the second half-hour averaging 4.443 million viewers, up +19,000 week-to-week (vs. 4.424 million) and +666,000 year-over-year (vs. 3.777 million), the largest year-over-year gain across daytime broadcast. The first half-hour averaged 3.816 million viewers, up +28,000 week-to-week (vs. 3.788 million) and +511,000 year-over-year (vs. 3.305 million). In the key demos, the second half-hour is up +0.04 both week-to-week and year-over-year among Women 18-49 (0.43 rating vs. 0.39 rating), while the first half was up +0.02 week-to-week (0.35 rating vs. 0.33 rating) and even with its year-ago performance.

NBC News Daily Ratings

With 1.627 million viewers tuning in, “NBC News Daily” attracted its second largest audience of the season, and one of its most watched weeks on record. The news program, which kicks off its fifth season in September, was just 23,000 viewers below the comparable performance of “Days of our Lives” during the same week in 2022 (1.627 million vs. 1.650 million), and saw a year-over-year gain of +540,000 viewers (1.627 million vs. 1.087 million) and one of few programs to see week-to-week growth, up +45,000 (1.627 million vs. 1.582 million). Just 31,000 viewers separated the “NBC News Daily” from “Beyond the Gates” (1.658 million), one of the smallest gaps ever between the two shows.

Among Women 18-49, the program was up +0.02 week-to-week (0.17 rating vs. 0.15 rating), topping “General Hospital” (0.16 rating), “Beyond the Gates” (0.15 rating) and “GMA3” (0.14 rating). Meanwhile, among Women 25-54 (0.24 rating), the broadcast tied “General Hospital” and “Beyond the Gates,” and was up +0.03 year-over-year (0.24 rating vs. 0.21 rating).
