Excluding “TODAY 3rd Hour” and “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle,” with just 10 weeks left to report for the 2025-2026 television season, CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” is on pace to win the crown among soaps in Women 18-49, marking the first time ever it will have ranked No. 1 for a single season among soaps, topping perennial leader “The Young and the Restless.”

Across daytime broadcast, the half-hour show is tied with the first half-hour of “The Price is Right” for second place in the key demographic, each with a 0.3 rating. Meanwhile, there’s a multi-show tie for fourth place with “The View,” “The Young and the Restless,” both half hours of “Let’s Make a Deal,” “General Hospital” and “Beyond the Gates,” each with a 0.2 rating. The second half-hour of “The Price is Right” remains first with a 0.4 rating.

Factoring in Most Current ratings data (September 22, 2025 – July 19, 2026), inclusive of Live+7 (September 22, 2025 – July 10, 2026), Live+3 (July 13-16, 2026) and Live+Same Day (July 17, 2026), “The Bold and the Beautiful” is the only daytime drama series to see significant gains season-over-season among Households (+5%; 1.9 HH rating vs. 1.8 rating) and Total Viewers (+6%; 2.944 million vs. 2.766 million), while remaining flat among Women 25-54 (0.4 rating), and marking the smallest drop among the four network soap operas among Women 25-54 Viewers, down 13% (233,000 vs. 268,000).

Compared to the Most Current ratings data available for the 2024-2025 television season using the equivalent period, “The Bold and the Beautiful” is currently up +178,000 viewers, the largest gain among the four network soap operas and is tied with “The Young and the Restless” among Women 25-54 (0.4 rating), though the hour-long show is down 20% season-over-season (0.4 rating vs. 0.5 rating) and down 17% among Women 25-54 Viewers (262,000 vs. 314,000). Among Households, the folks in Genoa City saw a 5% drop (2.1 rating vs. 2.2 rating), but the show is up +2% among Total Viewers (3.312 million vs. 3.257 million).

“General Hospital” is up 1% among Total Viewers (2.184 million vs. 2.160 million), and so is “Beyond the Gates” (1.773 million vs. 1.755 million). Demographically, however, both soaps have seen significant drops season-over-season among Women 25-54, with both shows down 33% (0.2 rating vs. 0.3 rating), with the long-running ABC soap dropping the most across daytime broadcast among Women 25-54 Viewers (242,000 vs. 342,000), down 29%, while the still relatively new scripted entry is down 24% (259,000 vs. 342,000). Among Households, the two shows are flat season-over-season, with “General Hospital” retaining its 1.4 rating and “Beyond the Gates” keeping its 1.2 rating.

“NBC News Daily” marked the largest percentage gain across daytime broadcast season-over-season among Total Viewers, up +18% (1.391 million vs. 1.181 million), while “GMA3” is up +6% (1.427 million vs. 1.349 million) and “The View” is up +3% (2.636 million vs. 2.563 million). In pure numbers, “NBC News Daily” is currently up +210,000 viewers.

The second half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal” is up +12% among Total Viewers (2.614 million vs. 2.340 million) and has the largest overall season-over-season gain, up +274,000, tied with the second half-hour of “The Price is Right” (4.422 million vs. 4.148 million), while percentage-wise, the latter is up just 7%. The first half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal” is up +17% (2.231 million vs. 2.020 million), gaining +211,000 viewers, while the first half-hour of “The Price is Right” is also up +7% (3.917 million vs. 3.645 million), gaining +272,000 viewers.
