The Young and the Restless Ratings
With 3.252 million viewers watching the happenings in Genoa City, “The Young and the Restless” attracted its largest audience in 16 weeks (since the week of March 16-20, 2026), averaged more than three million viewers for the 24th consecutive week, a streak that began during the week of January 26-30, 2026, and marked its fifth consecutive week of weekly gains among Total Viewers, up +35,000 viewers week-to-week (3.252 million vs. 3.217 million), and an impressive +317,000 year-over-year (3.252 million vs. 2.935 million).
Additionally, compared to the same week in 2024, the long-running soap opera was up +221,000 viewers (vs. 3.031 million) and up +112,000 over 2023 (vs. 3.140 million).
Among Women 18-49 (0.25 rating), the daytime drama ranked third overall for the first time since the week of May 25-29, 2026 (including ties), topping “TODAY 3rd Hour” (0.24 rating) and “The Bold and the Beautiful” (0.23 rating), while ranking No. 1 among soaps. The series was up +0.05 week-to-week (0.25 rating vs. 0.20 rating) and flat with its year-ago performance in the demo. Meanwhile, among Women 25-54, the soap tied for third place with “TODAY 3rd Hour,” each with a 0.39 rating, with the soap up +0.05 week-to-week (0.39 rating vs. 0.34 rating).
General Hospital Ratings
“General Hospital” attracted its largest audience in 15 weeks (since the week of March 23-27, 2026) and crossed the two-million-viewer mark for the first time in nine weeks (since the week of May 4-8, 2026) with 2.052 million viewers overall, up +72,000 week-to-week (2.052 million vs. 1.980 million) and +132,000 year-over-year (2.052 million vs. 1.920 million). In fact, the long-running soap opera was up +120,000 viewers over 2024 (vs. ), up +112,000 over 2023 (vs. 1.940 million), and just 8,000 viewers shy of tying its performance in 2022 (vs. 2.060 million).
The series was flat week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.18 rating), though up +0.01 year-over-year (0.18 rating vs. 0.17 rating), and saw a minor drop among Women 25-54 (0.22 rating vs. 0.23 rating).
On Hulu, “General Hospital” ranked first for three days on the streaming service’s Top 15 Today TV chart during the week of July 5-11, 2026, according to The TV Ratings Guide, and remained within the top five all week. With episodes that dropped on the service after airing on ABC, the daytime drama ranked No. 1 on Tuesday, July 7; Wednesday, July 8; and Friday, July 10. It ranked third on Sunday, July 5 and Friday, July 11, and placed fifth on Monday, July 6.
The Bold and the Beautiful Ratings
Though down week-to-week among Total Viewers, “The Bold and the Beautiful” (2.888 million vs. 3.010 million) was up +0.01 among Women 18-49 (0.23 rating vs. 0.22 rating) and +0.04 among Women 25-54 (0.34 rating vs. 0.30 rating). Compared to the same week last year, the half-hour soap was flat among Women 18-49 (0.23 rating) and up an amazing +343,000 viewers (2.888 million vs. 2.545 million). The drama series was also up +187,000 viewers over 2024 (vs. 2.701 million) and +171,000 over 2023 (vs. 2.717 million).
Beyond the Gates Ratings
Returning to originals after airing repeat broadcasts one week earlier, “Beyond the Gates” averaged 1.661 million viewers, up +122,000 year-over-year (1.661 million vs. 1.539 million). Excluding the show’s crossover-infused June performance that featured characters from “The Young and the Restless,” this was the soap opera’s best performance among Total Viewers since the week of April 13-17, 2026.
The soap opera was up by +254,000 viewers compared with the 2022 performance of former time slot occupant “The Talk” (vs. 1.407 million) and up +413,000 compared to 2021 (vs. 1.248 million).
Note: “The Talk” aired repeats during the comparable week in 2023 due to the ongoing writers’ strike, and in 2024 had already concluded Season 14, airing repeats until it kicked off its 15th and final season in the fall of that year.
The Price is Right Ratings
Officially wrapping its 54th season on CBS last week, repeats of “The Price is Right” topped the charts, with the second half-hour flat or improving on its year-ago performance among Women 18-49 (0.39 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.58 rating vs. 0.55 rating), and a huge gain of +706,000 viewers (4.424 million vs. 3.718 million) and +0.05 among Households (2.7 rating vs. 2.2 rating). Meanwhile, the first half-hour also saw gains compared to the same week last year, flat among Women 25-54 (0.50 rating), up +0.4 among Households (2.3 rating vs. 1.9 rating) and +562,000 viewers (3.788 million vs. 3.226 million).
