During the week of June 1-5, 2026, “Let’s Make a Deal” continued to impress both demographically and among Total Viewers, with significant year-over-year gains in the latter category, while “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” continues to stand above the year-ago performance of predecessor “TODAY with Jenna & Friends” across the board.
The second half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal” was up +0.03 week-to-week and +0.01 year-over-year, respectively, among Women 18-49 (0.25 rating), while the first half-hour’s 0.22 rating saw the game show up +0.03 week-to-week and flat year-over-year. Among Women 25-54, the second half-hour was up +0.01 week-to-week and +0.03 year-over-year with a 0.36 rating. The first half-hour was flat both week-to-week and year-over-year among Women 25-54 (0.31 rating). Compared to the same week last year, the second half-hour was up +424,000 viewers (2.533 million vs. 2.109 million), the largest across daytime broadcast, while the first half-hour was up +390,000 (2.216 million vs. 1.826 million), with the second largest year-over-year gain.
TODAY Franchise Ratings
“TODAY 3rd Hour” was up +0.04 week-to-week and +0.01 year-over-year, respectively, among Women 18-49 (0.29 rating), and was up +0.02 week-to-week and +0.01 year-over-year among Women 25-54 (0.42 rating). The third hour of the “TODAY” franchise was up +244,000 viewers compared to the same week last year (1.938 million vs. 1.694 million) and up +196,000 compared to the same week in 2024 (1.938 million vs. 1.746 million),
Meanwhile, “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” continues to outperform predecessor “TODAY with Jenna & Friends” by significant margins, up +0.07 year-over-year among Women 18-49 (0.26 rating vs. 0.19 rating) and +0.05 year-over-year among Women 25-54 (0.35 rating vs. 0.30 rating). The news program was up +0.02 week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.26 rating vs. 0.24 rating) and flat among Women 25-54 (0.35 rating).
The Young and the Restless Ratings
Though the only daytime broadcast series to be down week-to-week among Women 18-49, albeit with just a minor drop of 0.02 (0.23 rating vs. 0.25 rating), “The Young and the Restless” marked its 19th consecutive week averaging more than three million viewers, down 83,000 week-to-week (3.055 million vs. 3.138 million), but up +185,000 year-over-year (3.055 million vs. 2.870 million).
The Bold and the Beautiful Ratings
“The Bold and the Beautiful” saw a minor week-to-week dip among Total Viewers, down 4,000, but had the largest year-over-year gain among all four soaps, up +213,000 viewers compared to the same week last year (2.701 million vs. 2.488 million) and was up +64,000 compared to the same week in 2024. Overall, the half-hour series was flat week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.20 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.31 rating).
General Hospital Ratings
For the third week in a row, “General Hospital” was the only daytime broadcast series to see year-over-year losses among Total Viewers, down 84,000 compared to the same week last year (1.880 million vs. 1.964 million). That said, week-to-week, the series was up +0.01 among Women 18-49 (0.18 rating vs. 0.17 rating), flat among Women 25-54 (0.23 rating) and Households (1.2 rating), and up +37,000 viewers (1.880 million vs. 1.840 million), and has seen significant viewership gains via Hulu, where’s it’s consistently ranked within the top five, and many days an outright No. 1 on the platform.
Beyond the Gates Ratings
“Beyond the Gates” recovered from last week’s drop, up +58,000 viewers week-to-week (1.634 million vs. 1.576 million) and an even more impressive +121,000 viewers year-over-year (1.634 million vs. 1.513 million), marking the soap opera’s 18th consecutive week of year-over-year gains. The drama series tied time slot competitor “General Hospital” among Women 18-49 (0.18 rating), up +0.01 week-to-week and continued to top the ABC soap opera among Women 25-54 (0.27 rating vs. 0.23 rating), marking the largest week-to-week gain across daytime, up +0.03. Further, the drama series remains up compared to its former time-slot occupant, “The Talk,” up +470,000 over the talk show’s 2024 performance, up +181,000 over 2022, up +360,000 over 2021, and up +325,000 over 2020 — Total Viewers for “The Talk” were unavailable in 2023 due to the ongoing writers’ strike, which saw the program airing reruns.
