Get ready for a blast from the past, “The Young and the Restless” fans: The sudser is bringing back Julianne Morris Polaha to play Amy Wilson!

Soap Opera Digest first reported the news that the actress — who played Amy in the mid-90s — has reprised her role after an 18-year absence. As “Y&R” fans might recall, Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) was dating Amy before being introduced to her best friend, Sharon (Sharon Case). So will her return have an affect on the popular couple? You’ll have to tune in to catch Polaha’s premiere, which is set to happen sometime in November!

As for what the actress has been up to since leaving Genoa City, she briefly played Greta Von Amberg on “Days of our Lives” before leaving the acting world in 2002 to focus on family. She married Kristoffer Polaha in 2003, and the couple had three sons: Kristoffer Caleb Jr. (pictured), 10; Micah, 8; and Jude, 3.
