“The Young and the Restless” saw the largest week-to-week gain among Women 18-49, while game show “The Price is Right” continued to lead the pack across Women 18-49 and Women 25-54, both week-to-week and year-over-year during the week of May 25-29, 2026.
For the week, “The Young and the Restless” tied “TODAY 3rd Hour” for third place among Women 18-49, each with a 0.25 rating. The long-running soap opera was up +0.04 week-to-week (0.25 rating vs. 0.21 rating), while the news program saw a minor dip. Meanwhile, among Women 25-54 (0.41 rating), the CBS drama series continued to rank third with “TODAY 3rd Hour” right behind in fourth place (0.40 rating). With 3.138 million viewers tuning in, “The Young and the Restless” crossed the three million viewer mark for the 18th consecutive week, up +2,000 week-to-week, up +259,000 compared to the same week last year and up +163,000 viewers compared with the same week in 2024.
“The Price is Right” continued to rank atop the charts in both Women 18-49 and Women 25-54, with the second half-hour up +0.02 and 0.03, respectively, week-to-week and year-over-year among Women 18-49 (0.39 rating), while its first half-hour was up +0.01 and +0.02, respectively, with a 0.35 rating. Meanwhile, among Women 25-54, the second half-hour of the game show was up +0.08 week-to-week (0.58 rating vs. 0.50 rating) and up +0.01 year-over-year (0.58 rating vs. 0.57 rating). Compared to the same week last year, the first half-hour was up +0.06 week-to-week (0.52 rating vs. 0.46 rating), but remained flat year-over-year (0.42 rating). Among Total Viewers, the second half-hour saw the largest week-to-week gain across daytime broadcast, up +121,000 (4.439 million vs. 4.318 million), and was also up +468,000 year-over-year (4.439 million vs. 3.971 million). The first half-hour was up +374,000 year-over-year (3.844 million vs. 3.470 million). Further, the second half-hour is also up over the comparable week in 2024 (+190,000), 2023 (+270,000), 2022 (+41,000) and 2021 (+121,000). Meanwhile, the first half-hour is up compared to the same week in 2024 (178,000), 2023 (+119,000), 2022 (+24,0000) and 2021 (+20,000).
Though down among Total Viewers, with the weakest performance overall since the week of January 19-23, 2026, “Beyond the Gates” still managed to mark its 17th consecutive week of year-over-year gains, up +66,000 year-over-year (1.576 million vs. 1.510 million). Meanwhile, the soap opera was up +0.02 week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.17 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.24 rating), tying time slot competitor “General Hospital” in the former and topping the ABC drama in the latter (0.24 rating vs. 0.23 rating). “The drama series “Beyond the Gates” continues to outperform the 2024 (+358,000), 2023 (+311,000) and 2021 (+330,000) performances of the former time slot occupant, “The Talk,” among Total Viewers. In 2022, “The Talk” averaged 1.619 million viewers, marking one of its strongest performances during the 2021-2022 television season.
“General Hospital” marked its first year-over-year gain among Women 18-49 (0.17 rating) for the first time since the week of December 29, 2025 – January 2, 2026, up +0.02 week-to-week and +0.01 compared to the same week last year. Among Women 25-54, the long-running soap opera was also up +0.02 week-to-week (0.23 rating vs. 0.21 rating), meanwhile, the series was up by +34,000 viewers week-to-week (1.843 million vs. 1.809 million).
“TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” continues to impress, ranking fifth among Women 18-49 (0.24 rating) and tied for fifth among Women 25-54 (0.35 rating), up +0.06 year-over-year in the former and +0.08 year-over-year in the latter compared to the prior performance of “TODAY with Jenna & Friends.” Among Total Viewers, the fourth hour in the “TODAY” brand was up +72,000 week-to-week and +371,000 year-over-year.
The second half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal” posted the largest year-over-year gain across daytime broadcast, up +475,000 viewers compared to the same week last year (2.619 million vs. 2.144 million), while also gaining +16,000 viewers week-to-week. The first half-hour was up +373,000 viewers year-over-year (2.213 million vs. 1.840 million).
“The Bold and the Beautiful” was flat week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.20 rating), but was up +0.02 year-over-year among Households (1.8 rating vs. 1.6 rating) and +276,000 viewers (2.705 million vs. 2.429 million). The half-hour soap opera was also up +174,000 viewers compared to the same week in 2024.
