Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Talks Sheila’s Death on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ Says “This is what needed to happen”

"Ding-dong the witch is dead. This is what needed to happen," says Jacqueline MacInnes Wood on "The Talk" of Sheila's death on "The Bold and the Beautiful."

On the Monday, March 4 episode of “The Talk,” “The Bold and the Beautiful” star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) sat down with co-hosts Amanda Kloots and Sheryl Underwood to discuss the latest developments on the daytime drama series, particularly Steffy stabbing Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

In response to the show deciding to kill off the iconic villain, Wood said, “I was in complete shock…but like Steffy, I mean, ding-dong the witch is dead. This is what needed to happen. As for Steffy’s husband, who also happens to be Sheila’s biological son, Wood notes, “Steffy needs Finn [Tanner Novlan] to man up. She needs her man to stand up for what is going on because it’s absolutely crazy. Sheila terrorized their family for so long, so, and Steffy honestly doesn’t want to have to murder Finn, too!”

Considering Kloots recently made a guest appearance on the soap, playing the mom of real-life son Elvis Cordero, who appeared as a playdate for Steffy and Liam’s (Scott Clifton) daughter, Kelly (Sophia Paras), one wonders if we’ll be seeing more of the talk show host, fitness specialist and actress on the series soon, which Wood would like to see happen.

“I’d love for you to come back. We had so much that day,” shared Wood of working with Kloots. “Steffy needs a really good girlfriend.”

Speaking of kids, Wood shares details on how she manages life with four kids, saying, “I am nonstop, but I think like us as women, we just take on so much…I like to try to stay healthy and active when I can, and then I have little mom hacks here and there.” For example, Wood commented, “One of my things, I like to freeze my kids’ toys. So that gives me like 45 minutes in the morning because I do love my coffee, I treat myself…you have to hack your way through life.”
