For the sixth “Guiding Light” reunion, Alan Locher‘s “The Locher Room” is bringing the Santos mob family back together again, albeit virtually.
Quite popular with viewers led by the love story between Danny (Paul Anthony Stewart) and Michelle (Bethany Joy Lenz), the Santos family reunion brings some of the actors back together for the first time in nearly 20 years. Lenz last played the role of Michelle in 2000 while Saundra Santiago‘s Carmen was “killed” off more than once; last appearing on the show in 2003. Jordi Vilasuso (ex-Tony) last appeared on the show in late 2003 and currently moonlights on “The Young and the Restless” as Rey Rosales. George Alvarez (ex-Father Ray) and Paul Anthony Stewart were around for the series finale that aired in September 2009.
The virtual reunions have been part of a series that are streamed on Locher’s YouTube channel with all “GL”-related sessions taking place at 3:00 p.m. EDT, the same time period the show was officially scheduled to air on the east coast during its broadcast run on CBS.
The Santos family reunion is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 6 at 3:00 p.m. EDT/12:00 p.m. PDT.
