Congratulations are in order for “The Young and the Restless'” Elizabeth Hendrickson and husband Rob Meder as the two welcomed their first child, daughter Josephine James, into the world on Friday, March 27 at 9:22 a.m, reports PEOPLE.com. Their baby weighed in at 6lbs, 11 ounces and 20 inches long.
“It was the most incredible birth thanks to my amazing midwife Didi and all of the nurses at UCLA Santa Monica,” said Hendrickson on Instagram. “We couldn’t be more thankful for all of their hard work during a time like this.”
In a statement released to PEOPLE.com, Hendrickson said “We are thrilled to introduce our little Josephine James Meder to the world – she’s perfect in every way.” She added, “When dreaming about the birth of your first child words like ‘social distancing’ and ‘shelter in place’ never seem to enter into the picture. Yet here we were.”
