Nominations for “The 46th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” were announced today and CBS once again led the pack with the most nominations of any network, streaming service or syndicated television distribution studio. With 61 nominations, the broadcast network was led by 20 nominations for “The Young and the Restless” and 12 nominations for “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Adding in the 13 nominations it received for syndicated programming from its CBS Television Distribution arm, CBS Corporation received 74 nominations overall.
NBC was in fifth place with 38 nominations (27 of which was from “Days of our Lives”) and ABC was in sixth with 35 (“General Hospital” brought in 25 of them).

“The 46th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” are scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 5from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, CA. On Friday, May 3, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences will present the Creative Arts Daytime Emmys, honoring outstanding achievement in the technical aspects for daytime television programs broadcast from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the 2018 calendar year.
