Two years since taking over the role as Abigail Deveraux on NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” Marci Miller has officially closed that chapter in her life. The actress revealed on Friday that she has wrapped filming at the Burbank based soap opera via an Instagram video in which she sang the song, “I’ll Be Seeing You,” while playing the piano at the same time.

“And just like that, 2 very meaningful years have come and gone. I have been loved so well today. I will miss this cast. I will miss these people. I will miss this place. I am both heavy and light at the same time. Much love to all, you have left just the sweetest impression on me,” wrote Miller in her post.

In addition to the video, shown below, Miller also shared several poignant pictures with several co-stars, including on-screen love interest Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera), Lamon Archey (Eli Grant), Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez), Sal Stowers (Lani Price), Christopher Sean (Paul Narita), and Melissa Reeves (Jennifer Horton), among others from the show.

In the first photo, Miller is seen unwrapping a gift of what appears to be an early release signed copy of the upcoming book “Dancing with the Gods.” The book was wrapped in paper that includes a sketch of the official “Days of our Lives” hourglass.

Due to the soap’s advanced taping schedule, Miller’s last episode as Abigail Deveraux isn’t expected to air until at least late November 2018. Kate Mansi, who portrayed the character prior to Miller, is said to be reprising the role for a “short-term” stint shortly thereafter.
