Get ready for a super romantic wedding chock full of more drama than you can imagine, this week on “General Hospital,” when Julian (William Devry) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) head to the church to get married. Little do they know there’s going to be an interruption by a madman wielding a loaded gun.
The nuptials start off perfectly, as a smiling Alexis starts down the aisle and her proud groom walks up to meet her halfway. Together, Alexis and Julian make their way to the minister, who begins their wedding ceremony.
The church full of guests are smiling. (Well, most of them.) The couple’s vows are genuine and heartfelt. “I really believe it was meant to be,” Alexis tells Julian.
It looks like things are about to go off without a hitch. In fact, the minister actually gets to the good part. “Do you take this woman to be your wife?” he asks an eager Julian.
But before he can answer, all hell breaks loose. Someone crashes through the church doors, waving a gun in the air. “Nobody move,” he orders, as he fires a shot up toward the ceiling. Nathan (Ryan Paevey) jumps up from his seat to attempt to address the situation, as Maxie (Kirsten Storms) looks on horrified.
What happens next is an array of wild mayhem. Someone ominously points a gun at Sonny (Maurice Benard). Lulu (Emme Rylan) is pushed into the river and plummets to the bottom. Morgan (Bryan Craig) lurks on the pier holding a gun of his own. And Paul (Richard Burgi) creeps around the docks talking to someone on his cell phone.
