During filming of an upcoming fight scene on CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” actor Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby) was injured and broke his left elbow. The incident took place on Friday, September 18 on the set of the daytime soap.
Although it had been rumored for several weeks, actress Kassie DePaiva has confirmed on her official website that she has indeed been let go from NBC’s “Days of our Lives” after portraying Eve Donovan on the daytime soap for more than a year.
With anticipation of returning characters, historic moments, and happy memories upon us as “Days of our Lives” celebrates its 50th anniversary later this fall, the daytime drama series is set to release a new photo book titled “Days of our Lives: 50 Years,” which was pieced together by co-executive producer Greg Meng. As part of the release, a multi-city promotional tour has been scheduled.
On Friday, September 18, when Soap Opera Digest reported on a casting call going out for the contract role of Alisha by CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful,” fans of the daytime drama series began pondering if the show had plans to recast the role of Nicole (played by Reign Edwards) as the description for the character soundly awfully similar to that of the younger Avant sister. Thankfully, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

“FABLife,” the new Disney|ABC syndicated lifestyle talk show spearheaded by Tyra Banks and featuring foodie Chrissy Teigen, fashion expert Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk and DIY enthusiast Leah Ashley as co-hosts, launched Monday, September 14 as the No.1 new syndicated series of the young 2015-16 television season in Households  (1.1/3), Women 18-49 (0.5/4) and Women 25-54 (0.6/4).
