“FABLife,” the new Disney|ABC syndicated lifestyle talk show spearheaded by Tyra Banks and featuring foodie Chrissy Teigen, fashion expert Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk and DIY enthusiast Leah Ashley as co-hosts, launched Monday, September 14 as the No.1 new syndicated series of the young 2015-16 television season in Households (1.1/3), Women 18-49 (0.5/4) and Women 25-54 (0.6/4).
Outdelivering the year-ago debuts of “The Real” by 22% in Households (0.9/3 on 9/15/14) and “Meredith” by 20% in Women 25-54 (0.5/4 on 9/8/14), “FABLife” beat the season premiere of “The Talk” in Chicago and Philadelphia in homes (140% in Chicago – 2.4/8 vs. 1.0/4; and by 33% in Philadelphia – 2.4/8 vs.1.8/6).
The talk show ran within a virtual tie for No. 1 in its 2:00 p.m. time period in New York in Homes against “The Talk” (1.8/6 for “FABLife” vs. 1.9/6 for “Talk”).
