AMC Recap: Friday, July 15, 2011

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “All My Children” Episode Recap – Friday, July 15, 2011.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Mookie finds Maya in the Chandler parlor and wants to know what’s going on and he grabs her by the wrist and asks why she’s hiding stuff for JR. In need of another job now that Mookie is working at the Chandler Mansion, Maya asks Frankie if his parents still need a babysitter. Frankie realizes her boyfriend must be the father of the baby she gave up. Jesse expresses his fears to Brot that if Angie gets her sight back she will realize Lucy is not theirs. David tells Angie her stem cells are accepting the treatment and she thanks David and says he may have saved more lives than he’s destroyed. David says he didn’t save the people he loved the most. Angie tries to get him to open up but a phone call ends their conversation.

JR asks Maya to lock the door after she catches him taking a drink. Tad shows up and he instructs Maya to get rid of the alcohol. JR tells Tad he doesn’t need to be checked on but Tad says he promised Dixie he’d take care of him. Tad admits that his relationship with Dixie may have been the best one he’ll ever have. JR fesses up to having just one drink and says that Marissa’s a lesbian. A groggy Dixie reaches up for the star she drew on the wall and bangs on it, saying she has to get home.

Jane’s offended when Greenlee says David has her acting strange, not like herself. Jane says that she has changed since the kidnapping and maybe Jackson just doesn’t like it. Greenlee warns Jane that David will use her. Bianca and Kendall wonder why their mother hasn’t been there for them lately and Jane says they are grown women. Jane tells Opal that she’s sick of being her Gal-Pal. Kendall thinks “Erica” is sick. Just as Jane is telling everyone she loves David, he shows up. Jackson’s shocked by her confession and the fact that Greenlee knew about the two and disgusted, he leaves. Greenlee can’t believe she used to defend David and says there is no good in him. David makes his own announcement and gets down on one knee and proposes. Erica tells Ben she has to be honest about herself when writing her new book. She feels guilty for blaming her mother for her father’s absence. Confiding in Ben, Erica says she always wanted a loving father and talks about how she was raped which resulted in Kendall’s birth when she was only 14 years old. Erica says she thinks the reason so married so many men was because she was looking for a father figure. As Erica’s spilling her feelings she and Ben are startled by a knocking sound on the other side of the wall at the same moment Dixie is banging on her wall.

On the Next All My Children…
