Taylor Spreitler may be known to many fans as Lennox on ABC Family’s “Melissa & Joey,” but soap fans know her best as “Days of our Lives’” Mia McCormick, a role which she played from 2009 to 2010. But whether you love her for her comedy gig or her former soap gig, she’s open to any and all questions you can fire her way!
If you tuned your TV to ABC Family on Wednesday, July 3 expecting to see Trevor Donovan in his third and final appearance on “Melissa & Joey” as Austin, a childhood friend of Mel’s (Melissa Joan Hart), who moves back to Toledo and quickly convinces her to take their old friendship to the next level, you were probably one unhappy camper. Turns out the network pushed the episode back a week and his final appearance on the comedy series will instead air on Wednesday, July 10, a network spokesperson informs Soap Opera Network.
Heartthrob Trevor Donovan (ex-Jeremy Horton, “Days of our Lives”) is a man of many talents: He skis, snowboards, sings, plays the guitar and has a bachelor’s degree in graphic arts. But of his many abilities, acting takes the cake — and it’s something he’s been on a roll doing since he left “DAYS” six years ago. The California native has starred in projects like “90210,” “Savages,” and “The Client List,” and now he’ll add ABC Family’s “Melissa & Joey” to his resume.
“Passions’” alum Justin Hartley has done a lot of work since he left his role as Fox Crane in 2006, including a leading role as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow in “Smallville,” as well as a role as Will Collins in “Emily Owens M.D.” And now comes word of the actor’s next chapter: He’ll be playing the boyfriend of Melissa Joan Hart’s character, Mel, in ABC Family’s “Melissa & Joey!”
A rep for the show confirms that Hartley will be making an appearance in the upcoming season of the sitcom as Noah, Mel’s new boyfriend who has to temporarily move in with her when his apartment floods. The sped-up cohabitation definitely spells trouble for the pair, especially since Joey Lawrence’s Joe is always hanging around, too!
Look for the episode to air later this summer.
