It’s obviously not just “holidays and cold weather”, since that’s nothing extraordinary at this time of the year. It’s rather confirming the overall and huge trend towards soaps, especially in the key demos.

Great for Days they are flying but they took a big risk in ending Ejami for EJ and Abby lots of Ejami last week especially Thursday and Friday that promo came out after those episodes aired. Now they still might hold and even go up but if they down big time next week we know why a lot of people are hating what they to EJ’s character.

Congrats BB, Y&R, and DOOL! Well deserved boost all around.

  • SoapFansTogether

Wow, all top 4 soaps above 3 million viewers (average)!

    First time since 2007-08!

  • Bexxx The Clown

Great job GH, back to #2 in the key demos. And only trialing Y&R in the 18-49 by less than 100,000 viewers.

Great job all 4 soaps not a hater like my twin.

The fact that you actually consider me to be some sort of twin shows the real level of your mental instability. Yikes!

I’m Really proud of DAYS OF OUR LIVES! Isn’t it funny that the 12-24 episode (which did NOT count in the tally) had more viewers than the day before (which DID count); however if it HAD been included would have LOWERED the overall total number of viewers! ALSO DAYS was the only soap that had higher ratings on that Tuesday, Christmas Eve (which did not count) than it did on Monday, 12-23-13! Congratulations to ALL SOAPS! Let’s hope this trend continues in the FEBRUARY SWEEPS and beyond.

    • let the numbers speak

You mean the 12-30 episode?! We’re talking about the ratings for the week of December 30, 2013 – January 3, 2014 here ;)

THANK YOU! I corrected my post! With so many “WEEKS” of ratings coming out in a few days due to the holidays, I got mixed up! Thanks again for the “nice” reminder, rather than saying “HEY STUPID!” LOL
