This is great news for the soaps

  • Bexx

Congrats to Y&R, BB, and DOOL.

    • Lorenzo Canada Jr

GH IS THE BEST SHOW ON RIGHT NOW THE RATINGS ARE SHOWING IT

      • Bexx

When the big names go away, then what? The feeble minded GH fans will cry about how ‘boring’ the show is.

  • Paul

Great for all soaps but as a Days fan and Ejami fan delighted their engagement party brought in the ratings Monday and Tuesday were the best days and it showed it in the ratings.

    Congrats to ALL soaps!

This continues to be the best season start for soaps since 2008!

By the way, General Hospital is constantly drawing DOUBLE the ratings in the key demo than the “talk show” on CBS that is in the same time slot and was put on after CBS killed one of the most successful soaps ever: As The World Turns.

And ATWT drew significantly higher numbers than “The Talk” even in its weakest (last) year, too, when the season average was still around 1.0 in the women 18-49 key demo. [The same was true for Guiding Light.]

ABC’s talk show “Katie” that replaced AMC/OLTL is another example that all these replacement shows are tremendously weaker in the key demos. According to several news sites, the cancellation of that show may be announced still in October.

    Shouldn’t GH’s season average in 18-49 be 1.1 instead of 1.3???

Glad to see DAYS on the rise!!!

Great week for YR, although they drew off of that horrible Delia death.
