( – TV Line revealed today that  Susan Lucci has landed a gig on “Army Wives” which airs on the Lifetime cable network. The popular series stars Lucci’s former “All My Children” co-star Kim Delaney. For at least two episodes of the sixth season of the series, which will begin airing in the spring of 2012, the daytime legend will be playing a former Army wife and a new confidante of sorts for Delaney’s character, Claudia.

“Army Wives,” which averaged 3.7 million viewers a week in its fifth season and has earned the distinction of being the number one scripted drama series on cable in the Female 18-49 demographic, debuted in June 2007 on Lifetime with Delaney as its headline star.

The beautiful Delaney played Jenny Gardner, one half of super couple Greg (Laurence Lau) and Jenny, on “AMC” from 1981 to 1984. Despite some ongoing personal issues that have recently put the actress on the news, Delaney has enjoyed a successful prime-time television career with starring roles on series including “NYPD Blue,” “Philly” and “CSI: Miami.” Lucci, of course, is an original cast member or “AMC” which debuted in 1970. Along with the prestigious honor of hosting “Saturday Night Live,” during her career the popular actress has been the commercial spokesperson for brands including Ford automobiles, guest-starred on numerous series and starred on numerous television movies.

Last she touched on the topic, despite prior reports to the contrary, Lucci confided that she was still in ongoing negotiations with production company Prospect Park to bring Erica Kane back to Pine Valley. “AMC” is scheduled to debut online at some point in 2012.

Starr and Todd have their day in court. Meanwhile Tomas appears for his sentencing hearing. Téa tells him she can’t do anything for him since he plead guilty. Blair, kicked out of the arraignment, questions Tomas about his reasons for pleading guilty to a crime he didn’t commit. Anguished, Blair asks if she means anything to him, and he makes a confession to her.

Roxy tells Rex about Echo’s forgery and the document that’s floating around that turns all of Rex’s money back over to Clint, and sends him a copy of the forged document. Meanwhile Viki forces Clint to do his exercises when he gets a call from Cutter, telling him he can get all Clint’s money and property back for him, for a price. Clint calls Rex and demands he come over.

Cutter talks to the patient, who calls him Rex once by mistake. Cutter is not forthcoming when she asks him questions. Clint calls Cutter and tells him to take his document and shove it. Cutter at first is foiled but quickly comes up with a plan.

Hutchison Brings Gabrielle Back to Llanview

( — Add another name to the list of the caravan of returning stars to “One Life to Live.” Fiona Hutchison shocked fans this week by announcing the soap has asked her to reprise her signature role of Gabrielle Medina.

In a lengthy statement on her official Facebook page, Hutchison details her upcoming return to Llanview, stating:

Brace yourselves, I have some wonderful news to share with all of you. I am returning to ‘One Life to Live’ as Gabrielle. I have two shooting dates. Keep in mind, these are not air dates, but shooting dates. The first shoot date is Tuesday, October 25th; the second shoot date is Tuesday November 15th. If you happen to be in New York City {DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT PUT YOURSELF OUT AND FLY IN, I’M SERIOUS!} please, by all means, feel free to stop by the ABC Studios and chat. Obviously, for fire safety reasons as well as security reasons, I cannot bring any of you into the studio. But I do take breaks and I will be sure to slip away as much as I can to come out and ‘hang’ with my ‘posse.’ I Have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what they have in store for Gabrielle. She is dead but with daytime, who knows? I swear I would tell ALL of you if I knew what was going to happen. I have no script as of yet.

She goes on to add “Also, feel free to contact the people at Prospect Park as well as my dear friend Executive Producer Frank Valenti(ni) if you’d like to see me on the web version of ‘OLTL.’ I’m not certain what the plans are or if the final deal has been sealed… but I WILL BE heading to Los Angeles to shoot a role on the web series, ‘The BAY!’ Gregori Martin is ‘visionary’ and I could not be surrounded by a more down to earth, brilliantly talented cast! I cannot wait to start!!!!!!”

Hutchison played Gabrielle from 1987-91 and again from 2001-2004 when the character was killed off in a bathroom by Music Box Killer Dr. Stephen Haver (Matthew Ashford). A first airdate has not been announced.

Hickland Comes Back to ‘Life’

Yolanda Perez/ABC

( — Catherine Hickland becomes the latest in a series of former cast members returning to “One Life to Live” before the show wraps up its run on ABC Daytime.

Hickland, who portrayed Lindsay Rappaport from from 1998-2008 (and again briefly in 2009), tweeted on Monday that “Ok, are you sitting down? ‘OLTL’ has asked me to bring Miss Lindsay Rappaport to the dance B4 the end. I said YES.” Two days later she posted a follow-up tweet thanking her many “One Life” fans for supporting saying, “I have received over 700 tweets in 2 days about going back to ‘OLTL.’ Thank you all 4 the love!”

When viewers last saw Lindsay in 2008 and 2009, she was serving out her prison sentence in Statesville for murdering Spencer Truman (Paul Satterfield). A first airdate has not been announced, nor is it clear how many episodes Hickland is returning for.
