According to TVLine, Luke Grimes is exiting HBO's "True Blood" after reported creative differences with show producers over the future of his character, James. "He initially joined the show because he wanted to work with [his 'Forever' co-star] Deborah Ann Woll,” said an insider to the website. “But when he started reading the scripts for Season 7, he was disappointed to learn that they were going in a completely different direction with James." Grimes joined the cast of the series in season 6, which found James mostly sexing it up with Woll's Jessica.
TVLine is reporting that ABC's "General Hospital" has recast the role of Kristina Davis with daytime newcomer Lindsey Morgan. She replaces Lexi Ainsworth, who exited the soap in October as the character was sent to Yale University. According to a show representative, upon Kristina's return to the canvas, the daytime drama plans to take the character into a different direction.
With only one week left to go until production on its ABC Daytime run is finished, the list of former "One Life to Live" cast members returning to Llanview continues to grow.
Nearly three months after licensing the rights to "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" from ABC, Prospect announces the launching of a new web channel, The Online Network, which will air both soaps along with the upstart company's other current and future programming.
