As evidenced by the first episode of “One Life to Live,” life in Llanview has continued long after the soap ended its ABC run in January 2012. No, we don’t mean that the soap has jumped ahead five years as sister soap “All My Children” has done in order to progress its storylines, we mean characters didn’t just walk upstairs to the attic and kept silent and still while the millions of fans mourned their reported last breaths. Scheduled to re-launch on Monday, April 29 via Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes, the soap is about to take things higher with the opening of Blair’s new night club, Shelter, as the backdrop to getting things moving once more.

Titled “Brand New Start,” The OnLine Network has announced that Snoop Lion, aka Snoop Dogg, has agreed to write, produce and perform on the new theme song for the networks “One Life to Live,” which premieres with brand new episodes on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes on Monday, April 29. In a statement TOLN says, “‘Brand New Start’ speaks to the much anticipated series return and features soulful singer, Iza Lach, newly signed to Snoop’s Berhane Sound System label, and Snoop Lion himself.”

If you think you’re excited about the return of “One Life to Live,” which debuts on iTunes, Hulu and Hulu Plus on Monday, April 29, wait until you hear how excited these goats are! Uhhhh… Nope, that’s not a typo, folks. In The OnLine Network’s latest teaser for the sudser, goats are front and center.

The OnLine Network (TOLN) has confirmed the following stars who have joined the cast of “One Life to Live.”

As part of his efforts to bring an oral history of “One Life to Live” to page via the upcoming book “Llanview in the Afternoon: An Oral History of ‘One Life to Live,'” entertainment writer Jeff Giles has been posting numerous interviews and snippets of interviews from his time speaking with writers, producers, cast and crew members as they told of their experiences working on the ABC drama series. One such interview/story was posted earlier today on the books official Facebook page, which highlighted a moment in the life of Patricia Elliott (ex-Renee Buchanan).

Prospect Park’s much anticipated online revivals of long-running soaps “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” continue to inch closer to reality as both shows are scheduled to go into production in the coming weeks ahead of their excepted launch dates on Hulu (and iTunes) sometime in April.

Prospect Park today announced an initial listing of writers, producers and cast members who have signed on for the online reboots of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live.” The company has formally announced Susie Bedsow Horgan and Thom Racina as head writers of “OLTL.” Thorsten Kaye and Jill Larson bring the “AMC” cast count to 7 stars signed. “OLTL” adds Erika Slezak, Tuc Watkins, Kassie DePaiva, Florencia Lozano, Melissa Archer, Hillary B. Smith, Kelley Missal, Josh Kelly and Andrew Trischitta, who join previously signed Robert S. Woods, Robin Strasser and Jerry verDorn. With the exception of Strasser, Woods, Smith and Watkins, Prospect Park has secured most of the actors signed on during the first round of plans to reboot the soaps back in 2011.

The list of former “One Life to Live” stars signing on to continue their roles in the Prospect Park reboot of the cancelled drama series continues to grow. According to published reports, Robert S. Woods has become the latest “One Life” vet to help the soap transition to the web.

After scheduling conflicts reportedly kept her from reprising her signature role of housewife turned hooker Karen Wolek on “One Life to Live” in show’s final months on the air, Judith Light is finally coming back to Llanview…sort of. On Friday, January 13, just three hours before the final “One Life” episode airs, Light will set down on “The View” with several of her former co-stars to recall some of her fondest memories of the soap she called home from 1977-1983.
