“The Young and the Restless” has hired Mandi Line (“Pretty Little Liars,” “The Bold Type”) as the show’s new costume designer. Her work can be seen on screen beginning Monday, November 18.

Lachlan Buchanan (Kyle Abbott, “The Young and the Restless”) will portray Navy Petty Officer James Muldoon, who witnesses a crime and comes to the aid of someone in need in the Tuesday, March 1 episode of “NCIS,” titled “After Hours.”
On the Tuesday, January 26 episode of Freeform’s “Pretty Little Liars,” entitled “The Gloves Are On,” former “Days of our Lives” actor Blake Berris (ex-Nick Fallon) makes his debut as Damian Hayes. While you won’t be seeing “General Hospital’s Kimberly McCullough (ex-Robin Scorpio) on camera, you might want to pay special attention to the opening and closing credits as the actress directed the episode.
“The Young and the Restless” has cast “Home and Away” alum Lachlan Buchanan in the contract role of Kyle Jenkins, the son of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (last played by “General Hospital’s” Maura West). The actor will report to work at the CBS Television City studio, where “Y&R” is filmed, beginning Tuesday, January 27. His first airdate is set for Wednesday, February 25.
CBS and Lionsgate’s TVGN will rebrand itself in 2015 as POP, a new pop culture network for the younger generation currently tuning into the likes of Bravo and MTV, but the Walt Disney Company’s ABC Family cable network might also be in for some massive changes as well, according to a report by Variety.
When the fourth season of ABC Family’s “Switched at Birth” premieres next month it will be on a new day and at a new time, the network announced today. “Birth” will begin airing Tuesdays at 9:00 PM ET/PT beginning January 6, following the winter season premiere of the network’s “Pretty Little Liars.”
Spencer Neville has joined the cast of NBC’s “Days of our Lives” in the recurring role of Derrick. The actor/model/bodybuilder, who is reportedly set to appear in more than a dozen episodes beginning sometime next week, posted on his Facebook page in early September, “Big news coming soon on a TV show I’ve been working on…they are very secretive..” It’s not yet clear whether the actor was referring to his “DAYS” role or another project he may have been working on at the time. The “DAYS” episodes that feature Neville were filmed in late July/early August.
