On Thursday, February 21, during the east coast broadcast of ABC’s “General Hospital” (2:00 – 3:00 PM ET/11:00 AM – 12:00 PM PT) fans of Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe) will be able to chat live with the soap star as she discusses her characters crazy antics in an episode that finds Lucy being transferred to Ferncliff, while Molly (Haley Pullos) comes in with recent pictures of Sam (Kelly Moaco), which she hopes will help the police find Sam and her baby. Lucy is fearful for Sam and her baby and believes they are in serious danger, so Lucy concocts a plan to help secure her freedom as she believes she can help save the two.

With Lynn Herring returning last month as the ever spectacular Lucy Coe, now head of CoeCoe Cosmetics, many were left wondering if her return would solely be for the purpose of resurrecting the Nurse’s Ball on ABC’s “General Hospital.” Thanks to the creative writing of head writer Ron Carlivati and his team, that doesn’t appear to be the case. In a welcome twist of fate it looks as though Lucy’s return has actually helped open up a string of storylines tied to ABC’s canceled “General Hospital” spin-off “Port Charles.”

Beginning tonight at 7:00 PM ET/PT, SOAPnet presents a “General Hospital” marathon dubbed “Quartermania,” which will provide fans with five hours of classic episodes of the ABC Daytime drama series and the crazy antics of the Quartermaine family. In attendance will be some of your favorite soap stars from “GH” past including Jacob Young as Lucky Spencer, Natalia Livingston as Emily Quartermaine, Wally Kurth as Ned Ashton, Robyn Richards as Maxie Jones and Linda Dano as Rea Cummings, with fan refreshers made available for upcoming returnees Lynn Herring as Lucy Coe and Robin Christopher as Skye Quartermaine.

Five years after being taken off contract and placed on recurring status, Jacklyn Zeman (ex-Bobbie Spencer, “General Hospital”) has opened up to Soap Opera Digest in its newest issue about the circumstances surrounding her unexpected departure from the ABC daytime drama series.

Walking in on your beau bedding your best friend… Halting your wedding because your evil twin stole your spot at the altar… Discovering that your mortal enemy is really your long-lost sibling. These may seem like the plotlines of a delicious daytime soap, but sensational stories are anything but fiction on Investigation Discovery. Dishing out the drama of blindsided betrayals, mistaken identities, and deadly deceptions, ID is staking its claim on real-life soap operas with the launch of daytime programming block DAYS OF OUR KNIVES on Monday, August 20 from 1-4 PM E/P.
