The CW Helping in Support of Hurricane Harvey Relief Effort

In addition to the American Red Cross, there are a number of other organizations that have pledged their time and resources to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey. In their pledge to help, The CW has teamed up with the Texas Flood and Hurricane Relief to raise donations for victims of Hurricane Harvey. For every donation, 100% of every dollar raised will go to those affected.

The CW’s Shows Returning to Hulu

After declining to renew its agreement with Hulu in 2016, wherein viewers were provided with next-day access to current episodes of its series, The CW announced today that it will once again offer its programming to the streaming service, at least for subscribers to the Hulu with Live TV (beta) plan. The deal marks a victory for Hulu which now has all five English-speaking U.S. broadcast networks available through its live service.

In addition to "The Bold and the Beautiful" becoming the sole nominee and de facto winner in the category of Outstanding Daily Drama, nominees for the "The 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards" were announced today by the organization which recognizes and honors media published, released or broadcast during calendar year 2015 for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives.

The CW Renews Eight Shows for 2015-2016: ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ ‘Jane the Virgin,’ ‘Supernatural,’ ‘The 100,’ ‘Arrow,’ ‘Flash,’ ‘The Originals’ and ‘Reign’

The CW announced today during its portion of the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena that it has given an early renewal to "Arrow," "Jane the Virgin," "Reign," "Supernatural," "The 100," "The Flash," "The Originals" and "The Vampire Diaries," all of which appeared on the network's fall 2014 schedule, for the 2015-2016 television season.
