CBS has set season premiere dates for soap operas “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless,” and game shows “The Price is Right” and “Let’s Make a Deal.”

Premiering March 26, 1973 on CBS, “The Young and the Restless” was created by the late William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, and is a continuing drama centered on the loves, enmities, hopes, and fears of the residents of the fictional Midwestern town of Genoa City.
The hour-long series airs weekdays (Monday – Friday) on CBS and is available to stream Live and On Demand on Paramount+.
“The Young and the Restless” received a four-year renewal order in 2024, keeping it on the air through at least the 2027-2028 television season.

“General Hospital” fell back to earth after hitting season highs one week earlier, while “The Young and the Restless” set a new season low among viewers during the week of August 25-29, 2025.
Matt Cohen is the latest “General Hospital” alum to join the cast of “The Young and the Restless” in recent days. He’ll play Detective Burrow, who is investigating a major case in Genoa City.
“The 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” will take place LIVE on Friday, October 17, streaming exclusively online, starting at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
Karla Mosley, Scott Clifton, Melody Thomas Scott and Cameron Mathison will be the final guests set to appear on the audio/video podcast “Soapy Hosted by Rebeca Budig and Greg Rikaart.”
“Days of our Lives” alum Lucas Adams is the latest actor to be cast on “The Young and the Restless,” following Tamara Braun and Roger Howarth. He will portray a recast Noah Newman.
“General Hospital” alum Eva LaRue details how her late mother made sacrifices to help her establish an acting career, and how she herself had no backup plan. “It was make it or die.”
