Need To Know

  • Despite a minor week-to-week decline, “The Bold and the Beautiful” remained the highest-rated soap among Women 18-49 (0.20 rating) for the seventh time in nine weeks, including ties.
  • “General Hospital” continued to see week-to-week increases in the key demos, setting season highs among Women 18-49 (0.19 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.27 rating).
  • “Let’s Make a Deal,” “The View,” “Beyond the Gates” and “NBC News Daily” tied or set new season highs among Women 25-54.

During the week of November 17-21, 2025, “The Bold and the Beautiful” was again the top soap among Women 18-49, outperforming its lead-in, “The Young and the Restless,” for the seventh time in nine weeks, including ties. The half-hour drama held a +0.02 rating advantage over its hour-long sister series in the key sales demographic, while both shows were tied among Women 25-54 (0.34 rating), along with “The View” and the first half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal.”

“The Bold and the Beautiful” was up +0.01 week-to-week among Women 25-54 (0.34 rating vs. 0.33 rating) and up +48,000 among Total Viewers (2.617 million vs. 2.569 million), with the soap attracting its second-largest audience of the young 2025-2026 television season.

While it also attracted its second-largest audience of the season with 2.925 million viewers, “The Young and the Restless” ranked 10th among Women 18-49 (0.18 rating), tying its second-lowest performance of the season. Ditto for Women 25-54, though the soap tied for fifth place in the demo along with “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “The View” and the first half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal.”

After a two-week period during which some of its audience was without access due to the since-concluded Disney/YouTube TV carriage dispute, “General Hospital” set new season highs among Women 18-49 (0.19 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.27 rating). The soap was ahead of “The Young and the Restless” among Women 18-49 (0.19 rating vs. 0.18 rating), marking just the second time this season the ABC soap has outperformed its CBS counterpart. Among Total Viewers, the long-running drama marked a five-week high (1.933 million) and attracted its third-largest audience of the season. The show was up +130,000 viewers week-to-week.

Also marking a five-week high among Total Viewers, “Beyond the Gates” (1.614 million) set a new season high among Women 25-54 (0.26 rating). Its performance among Women 18-49 (0.14 rating) is a bit concerning, however. The soap was up +61,000 viewers week-to-week and up +341,000 over the year ago performance of former time slot occupant “The Talk” (1.614 million vs. 1.273 million).

“The View” tied its season high among Women 18-49 (0.23 rating), while setting new season highs among Women 25-54 (0.34 rating) and Total Viewers (2.483 million). The long-running talk show was up +0.02 year over year among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54. It was also up +0.01 week-to-week among Women 25-54.

With 1.447 million viewers tuning in, “GMA3” set a new season high among Total Viewers, Women 25-54 (0.22 rating) and Women 18-49 (0.16 rating). The program was on par with its year ago performance in the demos, while gaining +94,000 viewers compared to the same week last year.
