The summer competition series “American Ninja Warrior” will return for Season 18 on NBC, the network announced on Monday. Thus far, Season 17 has amassed more than 23 million viewers across NBC and Peacock.

Six months since making his debut in Port Charles, veteran soap star Chris L. McKenna has been upped to contract status at “General Hospital,” where he appears as WSB agent Jack Brennan.

“The Young and the Restless” star Elizabeth Hendrickson has stepped behind the camera to direct at the long-running drama series. Her first episode airs Tuesday, August 5.
