Although it had been rumored for several weeks, actress Kassie DePaiva has confirmed on her official website that she has indeed been let go from NBC’s “Days of our Lives” after portraying Eve Donovan on the daytime soap for more than a year.
With anticipation of returning characters, historic moments, and happy memories upon us as “Days of our Lives” celebrates its 50th anniversary later this fall, the daytime drama series is set to release a new photo book titled “Days of our Lives: 50 Years,” which was pieced together by co-executive producer Greg Meng. As part of the release, a multi-city promotional tour has been scheduled.
On Friday, September 18, when Soap Opera Digestreported on a casting call going out for the contract role of Alisha by CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful,” fans of the daytime drama series began pondering if the show had plans to recast the role of Nicole (played by Reign Edwards) as the description for the character soundly awfully similar to that of the younger Avant sister. Thankfully, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
