“The Young and the Restless” star Bryton James (Devon Winters) will reunite with his former “Family Matters” co-star Jaleel White on the Season 3 premiere episode of the popular game show “Flip Side,” hosted by White, airing on Monday, September 14.
James will be joined by his soap opera co-star Christel Khalil (Lily Winters) as they play against “Beyond the Gates” stars Colby Nixon (Kat Richardson) and RhonniRose Mantilla (Chelsea Hamilton) to win prize money for charities of their choosing, while seeing who will make it to the final round of guessing the top answers to anonymous surveys.
In a preview clip provided to Soap Opera Network, White notes that he and James worked together on “Family Matters,” with James sharing that he first met Khalil when she appeared on the beloved sitcom alongside him in Season 8, Episode 8, titled “Karate Kids” — James was still a star on the series, playing “Little Richie” (aka Richie Crawford), while Khalil made an appearance as a character named Angela as a street gang encounters Karate Kid versions of Steve Urkel (White), Richie, and his friend, 3J (played by Orlando Brown).
Also featured in the clip is a round of Flip Side, as the group seeks the top answer to a question posed to divorced women: “What would make you get back with your ex?”
The options included:
- An elaborate apology
- Too much tequila
- If he were the last man on earth
The round went to Team “Beyond the Gates” with Mantilla and Nixon correctly guessing number three, “If he were the last man on earth.”
