For the third week in a row, CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” saw week-to-week growth among Women 25-54 and was also up among Total Viewers for the second consecutive week, marking a 17-week high in the latter category during the week of June 23-27, 2025.
The daytime drama series averaged 3.088 million viewers and a 0.50 rating among Women 25-54, its best performance in the key demo in 12 weeks (since the week of March 31-April 4, 2025). Meanwhile, down a mere -0.01 from the previous two weeks, the show’s 0.28 rating among Women 18-49 still rated higher than its season average.
Compared to the same week last year, “The Young and the Restless” was the only daytime broadcast series to see year-over-year growth among Women 18-49 (0.28 rating vs. 0.25 rating), and saw the largest year-over-year growth among Women 25-54 (0.50 vs. 0.42 rating).
Despite declines week-to-week and year-over-year among Total Viewers, “The Bold and the Beautiful” (2.485 million) was the only other daytime broadcast series to see year-over-year growth among Women 25-54, up +0.06 (0.41 rating vs. 0.35 rating). The half-hour soap was flat with last week in the demo.
After marking a new series low one week earlier, “Beyond the Gates” saw the largest week-to-week gain among Total Viewers, up +125,000, averaging 1.595 million viewers for the week, which marked a 12-week high and was the show’s fifth best performance in the category since it premiered in February.
In the key demos, the new soap opera pulled ahead of time slot competitor “General Hospital” (1.867 million) after the two were tied in both demographics last week.
