“TODAY 3rd Hour” (1.934 million) tied for first place in Women 18-49 rating (rounded) and tied for second in Women 25-54 rating (rounded) during the week of October 23-27, 2023, marking the first time in a while that the third hour of the popular “TODAY” franchise ranked as high among the daytime broadcast shows. The show was also up over its performance one week earlier in Total Viewers, gaining +68,000 viewers.

Speaking of week-to-week increases, nearly every show was up among Total Viewers, including “The Bold and the Beautiful” (2.791 million; +84,000), “GMA3: What You Need to Know” (1.459 million; +77,000), “General Hospital” (2.076 million; +62,000), the second half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal” (2.618 million; +54,000) and “NBC News Daily” (1.176 million; +55,000). Also up week-to-week was the first half-hour of “The Price is Right” (3.716 million; +30,000), “The View” (2.307 million; +20,000) and “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna” (1.397 million; +15,000)

“The Bold and the Beautiful” and “General Hospital” were the only shows to see increases compared to their performance three years ago (2020), each up +68,000 and +14,000 viewers, respectively. As for year-to-year increases, only “NBC News Daily” saw an uptick, gaining +99,000 viewers compared to its performance one year earlier.
