"The Talk" to rebroadcast four of the five episodes it aired in March that were dedicated to "The Young and the Restless" 50th Anniversary.

Hosted by Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Jerry O’Connell, Natalie Morales and Sheryl Underwood, CBS’ “The Talk” has scheduled another week of reruns due to the ongoing Writers Strike.

During the week of May 22-26, 2023, the daytime talk show will air four of the five episodes originally aired the week of March 20-March 24, 2023 which were dedicated to “The Young and the Restless” as the series celebrated its 50th anniversary. Overall, the episodes featured 15 cast members grouped by either their character’s relationships or age as they appeared on different days throughout the week. 

In the ratings, “The Young and the Restless” dedicated episodes saw “The Talk” attract its largest overall audience since at least the week of January 31-February 4, 2022, with 1.64 million viewers tuning in each day. The show was on par with its season average in Women 25-54, scoring a 0.3 rating. Around 212,000 viewers came from the key sales demo.

The Monday telecast was the most watched overall, averaging 1.75 million viewers. The episode included appearances by actors Peter Bergman, Beth Maitland, Eileen Davidson and Jason Thompson, each portraying a member of the iconic Abbott family. It was highlighted by a behind-the-scenes look from the show’s Television City studio as presented by O’Connell. The last time a single episode of the show attracted as many viewers was on May 23, 2022, when “The Neighborhood” star Max Greenfield appeared as a guest.

Other cast members appearing on “The Talk” that week were Camryn Grimes, Bryton James, Michael Gaziadei, Christel Khalil, Sharon Case, Joshua Morrow, Michelle Stafford, Tracey Bregman and Christian Le Blanc. The episode featuring  Melody Thomas Scott and Jess Walton is the only episode not being rebroadcast next week.
