‘Spring Into Love’ Programming Event Propels Hallmark to #1 in Weekend Primetime; #2 in Total Day

Hallmark Channel’s “Spring Into Love” programming event, consisting of seven movies, aired over seven Saturdays (March 25-May 7, 2023), was a ratings winner for the cable network.

According to Live+Same Day figures released by Nielsen, Hallmark was the most-watched entertainment cable network in Weekend Primetime and a strong second in Total Day among Women 18+. In fact, excluding sports and news, “Spring Into Love” programming ranked #1 every Saturday in Households, Women and Persons 18+, and Total Viewers. Overall, the programming event reached 25 million unduplicated Total Viewers.

The seven movies aired during the programming event include:

“A Picture of Her” (March 25, 2023) – Starring Tyler Hynes (“Tales from the Never-Ending Story”) and Rhiannon Fish (“The 100”), the movie averaged 1.727 million viewers and a 0.09 rating in Adults 18-49, according to ShowBuzzDaily.

“Love in the Maldives (April 1, 2023) – Starring Jocelyn Hudson (“The Strain”) and Jake Manley (“The Order”), the movie averaged 1.377 million viewers and a 0.13 rating in Adults 18-49, according to ShowBuzzDaily.

“The Professional Bridesmaid” (April 8, 2023) – Starring Hunter King (“The Young and the Restless”) and Chandler Massey (“Days of our Lives”), the movie averaged 1.396 million viewers and a 0.13 rating in Adults 18-49, according to ShowBuzzDaily.

“The Wedding Cottage” (April 15, 2023) – Starring Erin Krakow (“When Calls the Heart”) and Brendan Penny (“Chesapeake Shores”), the movie averaged 1.984 million viewers and a 0.12 rating in Adults 18-49, according to ShowBuzzDaily.
