Final Two Episodes of ‘Star Trek: Picard’ to Screen at Select IMAX Available Theaters

On Wednesday, April 19, ten participating IMAX available theaters across North America will screen the final two episodes of “Star Trek: Picard,” including the series finale. Following the screening, an exclusive Q&A with series stars Patrick Stewart, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Brent Spiner and Jeri Ryan will be broadcast live from an in-person panel occurring at the Los Angeles screening*, which also serves as the series’ official Emmy “For Your Consideration” event.

Beginning today, April 12, at 1:00 p.m. ET/10:00 a.m. PT, fans can sign up to attend the special screening by registering at startrekpicardfinalescreenings.com (via gofobo). The once-in-a-lifetime cinematic opportunity will also feature an exclusive final season poster giveaway and complimentary concessions for fans in attendance. The special IMAX fan screenings will occur at 10 participating IMAX available theaters in Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, Orlando, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Dallas.

In “Star Trek: Picard,” Patrick Stewart reprises his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” and follows this iconic character into the next chapter of his life. LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd star alongside Stewart in the series, which is closing out its three-season run when the final two episodes stream on Paramount+ beginning Thursday, April 20.

In the final two episodes, Admiral Jean-Luc Picard receives a desperate message from a long-lost friend, forcing him to recruit allies spanning generations old and new for the most daring mission of his life. This final adventure will set him on a collision course with the legacy of his past as explosive, new revelations threaten to alter the fate of the Federation forever.

The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. For season three, Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Terry Matalas, Patrick Stewart, Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Doug Aarniokoski and Dylan Massin serve as executive producers. Terry Matalas serves as showrunner for season three.

Seasons one and two of “Star Trek: Picard” are currently streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S. and are available worldwide concurrently by Paramount Global Content Distribution on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories. In Canada, it airs on Bell Media’s CTV Sci-Fi Channel and streams on Crave.
