Beau Mirchoff ("Good Trouble") and Hunter King ("The Young and the Restless") will star opposite each other in "Hidden Gems," part of Hallmark Channel's "Summer Nights" programming block.

Hunter King (“The Young and the Restless”) will make her Hallmark Channel debut in “Hidden Gems,” part of the network’s upcoming “Summer Nights” programming slate. King plays Addie, a young woman who loses her grandmother’s ring in the waters of Hawaii just as she’s preparing for her sister’s wedding. Beau Mirchoff (“Good Trouble,” “Awkward”) will play Jack, a diving instructor Addie hires to find her lost treasure.

According to a synopsis for the TV movie, Addie and Jack clash when she insists she joins Jack in his pursuit. After going back and forth on the whys and the why not’s, eventually, the two come to an agreement and Jack takes on the role of Addie’s tour guide of the island’s hidden gems. The movie premieres Saturday, June 4 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel.

Months after opting to exit her Daytime Emmy Award-winning role as Summer Newman on “Y&R,” the series recently announced they have recast the role with newcomer Allison Lanier who makes her debut in late May. Meanwhile, earlier this year, King filmed the upcoming thriller “Give Me Your Eyes” (working title), playing Jael Jones.

Set for release later this year, the movie is about a woman (King) who volunteers for a video chat app that connects sighted individuals with visually impaired users. Her good service becomes a nightmare when Alejandra (Elyfer Torres), a mysterious, young blind woman, wakes her with a chilling late-night call: “There’s somebody in my house, I need your help.” In an isolated location where the police are not an option, Jael must remotely guide Alejandra as she flees a pair of hooded assassins … while unraveling the secrets of Alejandra’s dark past and increasingly violent nature.

King’s additional credits include the CBS sitcom “Life in Pieces” and Nick at Nite’s teen soap “Hollywood Heights,” created by “The Young and the Restless” head writer and co-executive producer Josh Griffith. She also appeared in episodes of “Hannah Montana,” “ER,” “Dexter” and “Without a Trace,” among others.
